ABOUT THE ART

The VISIONS Collection arises from the Artist following the path of Japanese ink painting in the “So” abstract period. Minimal brush strokes invite the viewer to engage in the painting and create their own reality. The brush, the ink, and the handmade paper all lend their character to the art. Only black, gray, and one other color are used. Just as the Zen Buddhist practices immersion into a simple object or garden setting, each piece is to be viewed with  a serene and tranquil mind.

Don Little, the Artist, has studied ink brush painting his entire life and is deeply influenced by travel to Japan and study of its architecture, gardens, painting and pottery.
